One of the places you can find deer is southeast Washington. These deer where taken during the opening week of modern firearm season 2011. If you are willing to travel and do allot of scouting it is a GREAT area to hunt. There is allot of public land down in the southeast corner but it has two directions up or down. So the hunting can be tough but it is worth it for the number of animals you might see.
