My G. Loomis downriger rods with RodWrap installed  

I just started using RodWrap and found it is a major improvement over slick cork and foam handles that are found on all fishing rods. It’s easy to apply and remove and will protect your rod handles from the abuse of day to day fishing. It’s not a tape and leaves no sticky film on the handle its held on by friction of the wrap itself.

The gripping surface is 50% better than stock and makes grabbing those rain wet slick downrigger rods much easier than before with a much less chance of dropping a rod overboard. It works so well I applied it to my net handles too.

Yellow RodWrap

The other advantage is you can color code your rod handles. This is a big help when you’re carrying many rods like I do when tuna fishing. I now have my trolling rod handles in blue, Butterfly jigging sticks in yellow, and live bait rods in red colored RodWraps. There are many color versions to meet your needs.
