Salt Patrols LVR-880 VHF Radios
I can’t tell you how much I love and use this VHF radio. The track your buddy feature is one of the best things to come along since the invention of the downrigger!
This is a top of the line VHF that provides real time tracking of my fishing partners on my GPS screen supplied by the NEMA 2000 connection on the radio. No more calling on radio to get my buddy's position, no secret numbers or spots, no cell phone calls.

Dave's postion is dispayed on the GPS screen from the Lowrance LVR-880 VHF
It’s just this simple, the VHF call from Dave on our partner Simrad boat goes something like this “John the fishing are biting where I’m at, I have 2 kings in the box”. I simply look down on my HDS-10 GPS screen and I’m off to Dave’s location as I have been tracking his boat with my 880 VHF on the GPS screen the entire time we have been out on the water.
This is a great feature for offshore anglers wanting to keep track on each other miles offshore and for those call in fish reports when you don’t want the fleet to know your fishing location. Each radio can track (3) buddies.
