Fall is Here

So it is the end of August all ready where has the year gone? Hunting season is here next week with the start of grouse season. Bear season is going on archery season is fast approaching and so is ever thing else. My Master Hunter deadline is the 1st of November for it to be complete with the test taken. Part of Team Snake River will be fishing in Mexico with Captain John chasing bill fish. Life just does not get any better than this! With all this going on I still need to blog about something so here we go.

The whole idea behind SNAKE RIVER HUNTING CLUB is and always will be the Safe, Ethical, Pursuit of big Game and sharing that experience with each other and with new hunters. With the web site we thought we could use the internet to reach out to the hunting community. The hard part is we need your help!! We need feedback, we need recipes, we need pictures stories, and we need your help to make this work. Directions to your favorite hunting spot are not required but we will review. The idea is to provide a place for hunters to share that outdoor experience through a relatively new media. We can post a picture of your hunting camp, or camp rules, favorite recipes are always a good one to share. So please email us at snakeriverhuntin@aol.com and let us know what you think.

Now for master Hunter update I am planning on making and putting up a series of wood duck house that I can keep tabs on in the coming years in my area. The plans can be found on the Fish and Wildlife web site. I hope to have everything wrapped up before muzzle loader season. I will keep you posted.

I drew a cow tag this year for the Peola unit and my good friend Mike Lince drew the quality bull tag in the Dayton unit. I am looking forward to muzzle loader season this year. I also have a any buck tag for the 381 unit at the same time. A lot of miles are going to be put on the truck this year. If anyone has any idea on any of those units please shoot me an email. Remember when you are out this season hunt safe and take someone with you that has never hunted!
