"Late season hunt on the salt water.
The weather forecast sounded really ducky with lots of wind and rain. So it did not take much for me to make the hour drive out to this spot on the Hood Canal. From the pictures you can see I got no weather and there for not many birds.

This was a solo hunt with out a boat or a dog so I had to be pretty selective on my shots. I was on tide flats so I made sure I could wade as far as I could shoot. Hunting this spot can be a lot of work chasing decoys because of the tide but it can be worth it. All in all it was nice to get out on the water. One shot, one bird. This will not stop me from going back out."
